EMI Mission Statement
To provide comprehensive environmental consulting and training services to industrial, commercial, and governmental clients throughout the State of Alaska.
Training
EMI provides environmental procedures and safety training classes at their facilities in Anchorage, as well as on location throughout the state of Alaska and other areas. EMI's training expertise includes: asbestos identification and removal; hazardous waste handling, transportation and remediation; lead inspections, assessments, and abatement; radiation worker and surveyor training; underground storage tank installation and removal; confined space; scaffold safety and fall protection; first aid and CPR; and other client specific training. We supply training services to clients of all types including private homeowners, the military, governmental agencies, and general industry --Note: EMI is now an approved training provider for the NSTC.
Consulting
EMI's consulting expertise includes environmental site assessments, remedial investigations and actions, underground storage tank management, RCRA/CERCLA waste management, lead and asbestos inspection and management, hazardous building material evaluation and management, health and safety consulting, confined space consulting, OSHA compliance, data evaluation, and other multi-disciplined environmental management services. EMI also provides civil engineering services for projects including water well and septic system design and evaluation, waste water treatment, storm water treatment, retaining wall design, and other small scale civil engineering services. We supply services and consulting to clients of all types, from private homeowners to leading Alaska corporations.
